Sheep

Our first sheep were a flock of 93 traditional Scottish Black Face Ewes that had been paired with Blue Face Leicester Tups which meant the ewes were with 'Mule' lambs. We've recently added Charolais that have also been paired with a Dutch Spotted Tup which is producing lots of little black, black and white spotted lambs, very cute!

Tups

The Tup is the male sheep. We have 3, a Charollais and 2 Dutch Spotted which crossed with the Black Ewes has produced the sweetest black lambs, some with white spots..

Deer Tours

Just 3 miles from Mid Torrie Farm is 'Muir Estate' where we farm park deer.  It would be our pleasure to offer guests the opportunity of this unforgettable experience.  Get up close and feed the deer, they love a carrot and some deer nuts.

£30 per group (4 guests)

Fishing

The River Teith offers diverse fishing opportunities for salmon, sea trout, and brown trout. It's known for its autumn fly fishing, particularly for salmon and sea trout. Mid Torrie has a beat just 2 miles from the farm, max 2 people for all day fishing on a Thursday only
